Tuomo Heikkinen, Lead Counsel | Stora Enso

Tuomo Heikkinen is the Lead Counsel of Stora Enso’s Consumer Board division and a part of the division’s Leadership Team. Before joining Stora Enso, he worked for Hannes Snellman’s M&A-team for four and a half years. He also has previous experience from international industrial construction projects from Uruguay as a legal and commercial advisor. Prior to his legal career, Tuomo worked as a Business Journalist, for instance, for Kauppalehti (Finnish Business Daily). Currently, his workdays revolve around contract and dispute negotiations, compliance and administrative duties as well as business development.

Marcus Lehtinen, Associate | Hannes Snellman

Marcus is a member of Hannes Snellman’s Public M&A, Equity Capital Markets and Corporate Advisory team in Sweden. Marcus has a profound interest in blockchain technology and other related technologies, such as smart contracts. He has written a research essay on the legality of smart contracts during his studies at the University of Auckland.

Tiina Lencioni, General Counsel | Marimekko

Tiina is the general counsel of the iconic design brand Marimekko. She has been working as an in-house lawyer for over 15 years and has extensive experience in working with different brands, such as Salomon, Atomic, and Wilson, as well as legal matters related to them. Her areas of expertise are contract and commercial law and negotiations, compliance, corporate governance, consumer law, and fashion law.

Currently, Tiina also serves in the Board of Directors of the alcoholic beverage brand company Altia, which owns brands such as Larsen, O.P. Anderson, Blossa, and Grönstedts.

Tiina completed her law degree in Germany and was also trained on the bench in Germany.

Jenny Lundberg, Specialist Partner, Hannes Snellman

Jenny heads the employment law practice at the Stockholm office. She advises both domestic and international companies in matters related to employment law, such as general day-to-day advice for companies operating on the Swedish market, drafting of management contracts and terminations thereof, union negotiations as well as employment issues in connection with mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

In addition, Jenny also works with data privacy issues and compliance matters. She regularly conducts presentations and training in these areas.

Sten Olsson, Partner | Hannes Snellman

Sten heads Hannes Snellman’s M&A practice in Helsinki and is a member of the firm’s Partner Committee. He is recognised as one of the leaders in mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions and fund formation work in Finland. Sten is a member of the Finnish Bar and he was admitted to the New York State Bar in 2001.

Martin Rifall, Partner | Hannes Snellman

Martin Rifall has extensive experience in court proceedings as well as domestic and international arbitration proceedings. He has acted as counsel for Swedish and foreign companies in inter alia SCC, ICC and ad hoc arbitrations. Martin has a particular focus on construction disputes, acting as counsel for employers and contractors in large national and international construction projects. He also sits as an arbitrator on a regular basis. Further, Martin advises clients on all stages of the construction process, including tender documentation, contract drafting and negotiations. Martin also regularly gives lectures on construction law.

Sarita Schröder, Senior Associate | Hannes Snellman

Sarita specialises in intellectual property, marketing, and consumer law, with a particular focus on litigation and other contentious matters in these fields. She has represented clients in a number of notable disputes involving claims of trademark, trade dress, and copyright infringement, misappropriation of goodwill, as well as false and misleading advertising.

In addition to handling contentious matters, Sarita provides clients with strategic legal advice in relation to trademark portfolio management, as well as the planning and execution of product launches and marketing campaigns. Moreover, she advises clients in various IP-related contractual matters.

Having previously worked as an in-house legal counsel for a leading Finnish telecommunications group, Sarita also has experience working on a wide range of technology-related assignments.

Emma Swahne, Associate | Hannes Snellman

Emma advises clients in the fields of data protection, technology, and intellectual property, as well as general commercial and contract law. Emma is currently studying in the Master’s Degree Programme in Intellectual Property Law at Hanken School of Economics.

Tapio Teräkivi, Partner | Hannes Snellman

Tapio heads our Real Estate practice in Helsinki. In addition, he plays an important role in Hannes Snellman’s Infrastructure & Energy practice, which is a multi-disciplinary group of experienced lawyers whose expertise cuts across capital markets, real estate, construction, environment, litigation, PPP, project finance, restructuring and tax.

Tapio has extensive experience of complex real estate transactions, development projects, as well as sale and leaseback arrangements. Tapio works with a wide range of clients, including numerous institutional investors, multinational and Nordic industrials and real estate developers. Apart from the substantial experience of the real estate sector, Tapio also has solid energy sector expertise, especially within wind power and hydropower.
