Legal Assistant - from intern to employee

12 December 2018

At the end of September this year, Tina Jansson began her career with us as a legal assistant trainee. Tina studies in the paralegal program at Påhlmans Handelsinstitut in Stockholm and has been with us to do a traineeship.
During my time here, I have done checks regarding conflicts of interest and money laundering, proofreading, and formatting documents. I have also created files for new clients and matters and been responsible for putting binders of information together in preparation for court hearings. In addition, I have been able to take part in Hannes Academy lectures, which has been useful for my development.

Tina describes her traineeship as fun and educative:
I have been feeling at home since day one and I have been lucky enough to have a great mentor. Everyone has been kind and helpful. It has been exciting to get to put what I have learned in school to use and to see what working at a large firm is like.

What has been the most fun part of your traineeship?
The varying nature of the job. You never know what the day is going to bring when you walk in in the morning. Hannes Academy has also been interesting and fun to take part in; you always learn something new. In general, working with the people at Hannes Snellman has been a treat.

We are utterly satisfied that Tina will be joining us for her second traineeship in March and that she will come work for us full time in June!
