Hannes Snellman Counsel to Schaeffler in Its Investment in the Green Impact Company H2 Green Steel

Hannes Snellman acted as counsel to Schaeffler, a leading global supplier to the automotive and industrial sectors and one of the world’s largest family companies, in its investment in the Swedish green impact company H2 Green Steel. H2 Green Steel is securing a total amount of EUR 190 million, in the first close of the series B equity financing from a selected group of investors. H2 Green Steel was founded in 2020 with the ambition to accelerate the decarbonisation of the steel industry using green hydrogen.
