Thomas Landell To Join Hannes Snellman’s M&A Team and Partnership in Helsinki

Thomas Landell will join as Partner in Hannes Snellman’s M&A team in Helsinki, further strengthening the firm’s leading market position.

Thomas Landell has extensive experience in various roles across a broad range of corporate transactions, investments and value-creation journeys. He has served as General Counsel of Rettig Group working closely with both its listed and private portfolio companies, including serving on the boards of Purmo Group and Nordkalk, as well as private equity fund investments and co-investments in financial sponsor-led acquisitions and exits. In Rettig Group’s majority-owned portfolio companies, Thomas contributed to an array of strategic initiatives, such as add-on acquisitions and extensive performance improvement programs. Most recently he has served as an attorney and partner engaged in cross-border and domestic private and public M&A transactions and previously as visiting lawyer at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP in New York. Well-appreciated by Finnish, Nordic and international clients, he has worked with international and domestic financial sponsors and industrials in numerous landmark transactions.
